Velo Equipped With The Velo Binding Accessories
When it comes to velo binding, the two most important accessories that you need to be equipped with are the velo binding strips and the punch. These velo binding accessories are actually not its accessories but the main required ingredients to velo bound a book or thick document with many papers. These two accessories are required in bulk when you have a velo binding knife at home or you are running a business and you need it for a lot of work. The velo binding strips are a combination of two types of strips. The receiving strip and the comb shaped one. The receiving strip is a long plastic strip with holes already made in it.
It can be got in various sizes, like a 11 or 5 hole strip. This strip also has small holes at it ends which fit into the velo binding machine for perfection in binding.
The comb shaped strip has elongated extensions which insert first in the punched papers and then the receiving strip on the machine and then finally in the machine. These strips are required in bulk and some can be faulty hence go in waste. Some can break during usage hence; you should have a good stock of them when you need them continuously.
The velo binding punch is an accessory which is required when you have a manual velo binding machine and no punch attached. When binding a book the first thing you require is to insert and form holes in the papers which are to be bound.
These holes have to be precise and clean without any paper jamming in between. When punching a set of papers always punch thin sets at a time to avoid jamming and smooth punching. Alignment is also very important or the holes will be formed some up and some below.
